“Give me the fortune, keep the fame,” said my man Louis,
I agreed know what he mean because we live the truest lie
I asked him why we follow the law of The Bluest Eye
He looked at me, he thought about it
Was like, “I’m clueless, why?”
I woke my son up this morning and he sat on the edge of his bed, frowning with a deeply furrowed brow.
Last week my daughter came downstairs, dressed head to toe in girly camouflage.
I try to say the word, “indeed” at least once a day. I’m on a one man crusade to bring it back into everyday conversation.
Plus it makes me sound smart and cultured.
Words are f*cking sweet!
