There’s a poster, in the production studio where I work. I’m in there quite often, sometimes several times a day to review proofs-n-such. Although I’ve seen the poster many times, I had never actually read it. It’s a mish-mosh of distressed type with images of skulls and fire, squeezed through a photoshop filter. Because of that, it doesn’t really inspire you to actually read it, but to gaze at it. Your eyes slip over the jumble of words without actually taking them in. Nevertheless, I recently focused all of my power and read the words and here are two quotes, that jumped out at me.

The life of every man is a diary in which he means to write one story and writes another, and his humblest hour is when he compares the volume as it is with what he vowed to make it.

James M. Barrie

This next one though, is my favorite:

Hell begins on the day when God gives us a clear vision of all that we might have achieved, of all the gifts which we have wasted, of all that we might have done which we did not do. For me, the conception of hell lies in two words:

“Too late.”

Gian Carlo Menotti

I know. That last one made the hair on the back of your neck stand up. Deep huh?

Franklin Tees. For Spring!

Since you can't go outside naked, you might as well buy one of these fresh-ass t-shirts! (Pants not included. But let's be honest, when you're rocking a shirt this fresh, noone's going to be looking at your pants anyway.)

RSS Be like Roosevelt Franklin. Listen to the music I listen to. (Click to hear. You'll be a better person for it.)
